 Q. Am I under any obligation to hire you if I arrange to meet you?
A. Not at all, the initial meeting is free of charge and you are not obliged to hire me at all.
Q. What are your fees?
A. The average celebrant charges $650 and $800. I have kept my costs to $550.
Q. Are there any additional costs on top of this fee?
A. There are no additional costs, the fee is fully inclusive.
Q. When do we pay the fees?
A. You pay a $100 deposit on the day of the booking and the balance is due 7 days prior to the wedding.
Q. Are you registered to legally marry me or to perform a Commitment Ceremony?
A. Absolutely. I studied and obtained a certificate from the Academy of Celebrancy and passed my registration through the Attorney General’s Office.
Q. Is there a refund policy if I am not happy with the outcome of the ceremony?
A. If I , as a Celebrant, do not perform the duties expected of me , according to the ‘ rules of conduct’ set by the Attorney General’s office, i.e. Advise clients of relationship counseling, complete all legal documentation, advise and not alter fee structure and conduct the ceremony in a professional way in a manner arranged prior to the ceremony, then the client is eligible for a full refund.
Unforseen changes out of the control of the celebrant e.g. weather, bridal party issues, are not the responsibility of the celebrant and do not warrant a refund.
